Soft drinks branding

Branding is hugely important in the soft drinks market as Coca-Cola is the world’s most recognized brand and Pepsi is the 23rd most recognized. Branding is important as people have brand loyalty so once they are branded they may continue to buy a product even if there are better and cheaper alternatives.
I will brand the product by using guerrilla marketing as well as the usual placement and advertising strategies by:
· Giving away t-shirts, caps, etc with the logo on
· Having the cola come out of fountains. This is mainly a publicity stunt
· Setting up underground internet sites promoting the products
