Jessica Simpson Biography
The date is July 10th 1980. I'm pretty sure you can guess what happened. Jessica Ann Simpson was born in Dallas, Texas. She began her music career in the local church choir. Despite evidence to the contrary some good can actually come from church camp where Jessica was picked up by a small record label.
Over the next three years Jessica recorded her debut album. The only real problem was that the label collapsed before it could be released. Her grandmother came to the rescue however and funded a short run of the CDs. It became popular within the church youth community and would eventually lead her onto the real world.
This came in the form of signing to Sony Music and touring with 98°. This was then followed by her new album Sweet Kisses released in 1999. It was successfully led by the single "I wanna love you forever." The follow up to this came in 2001 with Irresistible though it did not fare so well.
After this Jessica moved away from music a bit, marrying Nick Lachey and guest starring in several episodes of That 70s Show. Then in 2003 she combined both her marriage and TV career into some kind of super hybrid when MTV produced the reality TV show, The Newlyweds.
In July 2004 Jessica released her next album The Skin. Single "Sweetest Sin" tried to lead the album but was disappointing however the next single "With You" picked up some serious popularity. The album was re-released in 2004 with reworked tracks and footage from her TV show - Jessica Simpson Planet.
