Donnie Darko
It is a rare treat when a movie comes along that is so strange, it is confusing to all but the insaine. Donnie Darko is a high school student is a crazy teen (not in a cool way, in an actual crazy way) who's live is saved by a giant bunny rabbit named Frank who then orders him to commit some violent acts.
Its a very good movie. First time director, Richard Kelly has received some stick for its production, although in my opinion its quite an insightful movie. The acting is not to be faulted, some parts offer quite flair, my particular favorite was Holmes Osborne's performance.
It's by no means a mainstream movie. But if your looking for something a bit alternative and have an open mind to the wierd, check this out.
