Eliza Dushku Biography
Eliza Patricia Dushku was born on 30th December 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts in the United States. She has three older brothers, one of which is Nate Dushku who has been in Angel, Joan of Arcadia and Antitrust among others.

Eliza has always been talented, playing the piano and drums and learning jazz, tap and ballet. She also began her acting career early working at the Watertown Children’s Theatre.

Her first big roll was in That Night in 1992 where she played Alice. Among other projects she went on to play the daughter in True Lies in 1994 alongside Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Then in 1998 she scored her major break, cast as Faith in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Though the character was only suppose to appear in a few episodes, she was so good that she remained and did episodes in both the spin-off, Angel, and the finale series of Buffy which aired in 2003.

Her next major film was in 2000 starring along side Kirsten Dunst in the cheerleader flick, Bring It On which was a big success. Among the other films she has done are Soul Survivors (2001) and Wrong Turn (2003).

With Buffy drawing to a close, the producers apparently offered Eliza a spin-off about Faith; however she turned it down to work on a TV show, Tru Calling. Although the show developed a loyal fan base among the Mutant Enemy crowd the show was cancelled during the second series - Eliza Dushku Planet.
