Deep Impact
A huge commet is heading towards the earth so the Americans launch a shuttle armed with nuclear warheads which they plant of the comment and cleverly blow it into two large commets which will both now hit the earth. So next they launch a missile attack - which misses. So they take a load of people into underground bunkers (like mt. Cheyenne) to live for 2 years and leave the everyone else outside to die.

The first comet hits and causes a huge tidal wave hits America but they dudes on the shuttle craft luckily have soom nuclear missiles left so they run a susiside mission into the large comet - Review Machine Movies.
