Declaring bankruptcy
Making ends meet is never easy. In fact sometimes it seems easier to just give up and declare bankruptcy. But what is the truth behind it? Is it a good idea or is it something you should stay away from at all cost?

Well of course if it can be easily avoided then stay away from it. Declaring bankruptcy means that you won't be getting mortgages, credit cards or personal loans anytime soon. Or anytime for quite a while actually.

Still bankruptcy is now a rare occurrence. Each year there are over one million bankruptcies in the United States. Many of these are caused by loss of jobs or people who are unlucky enough to fall foul of a serious illness or other health problem.

Bankruptcy basically means that you are unable to pay your debt's, so the people you owe them to are no longer entitled to payment - so let's not kid around here, when you declare bankruptcy you are screwing a lot of people owner. This is ok for the multi-national corporations but if you owe money to small businesses you could do serious damage.

Once you declare bankruptcy it will appear on your credit record for 5-10 years depending on what country you live in. However despite all the above reasons, if you really have tried all other alternatives then it may be time to consider declaring bankruptcy.

There are different types of bankruptcy you can declare. For instance if you have a regular income you should be able to file for a different kind to if you have no money coming in. The original type allows you to keep some valuable property such as a house rather than losing everything.

So if you really cannot afford to pay back the money you owe then bankruptcy can be used a last resort. But remember that it will stain your credit record for years and you could lose everything from your house to your family heirlooms - Maze Finance.
