Building a PC: Step 1
Step 1, useful tools, taken from Chris Worfolk's ICT Hardware coursework.
Useful tools and such
These are tools that you will probably need when building your computer.
Anti-static device
The most convenient of these are wrist straps. This will disperse the build up of anti-static which can damage sensitive computer components
Screwdriver
This is good for screwing and unscrewing things
Cable ties
These tie the cables together to keep things neat and improve airflow. They need to be plastic
Small wire cutters
Good when using cable ties as anything left over can be neatly trimmed with these
Long-nose pliers
These can get into places that your fat fingers cannot
Small torch
You can never get enough light inside a computer case to see what you are doing so a torch is very useful
Pencil and paper
If you don’t have a spare laptop with notepad lying around you can write important notes and settings, etc
